I have uploaded this in two parts as there is a lengthy instrumental section in the middle of the song where the Beast and Belle and other characters dance. The only recording that includes this middle section is the recording for The Prince (A.K.A The transformed Beast) so if you want to hear what the middle section sounds like - please listen to this first recording.
FULL SONG: With the vocal line for THE PRINCE (A.K.A The Transformed Beast)
THE LEAD CHARACTERS: VOCAL LINES: The Household Items (Lumiere, Cogsworth, Chip, Babette, Wardrobe and Mrs Potts as well as the other leads - Gaston, Lefou and Maurice) do not start singing until the very final chorus "Certain as the sun, Rising in the East" etc. All Lead Characters will need to sing a specific harmonic vocal line as the ensemble will be singing the melody line in this song. The Silly Girls and Monsieur D'Arque will need to choose an Ensemble part (Groups 1, 2, 3 or 4) to sing with.
Belle - (Joined by Chip from "Certain as the sun" onwards) This is actually really high, it is totally negotiable if either of you feel it is too difficult. We will chat about it at the Holiday Rehearsal.
Babette and Wardrobe
Mrs Potts and Maurice
Lumiere, Cogsworth, Gaston and Lefou
ENSEMBLE: VOCAL LINES: This section is broken up into two recordings: The first part of The Transition (Listed as THE START) is singing "Ah's" before and after The Prince tells Belle he is The Beast Transformed. The second part of The Transition (Listed as THE END) is just the final chorus from the song Beauty and the Beast "Certain as the sun, rising in the east..."
GROUP 1&2 Vocal Line: THE START
GROUP 3&4 Vocal Line: THE START
GROUP 1 Vocal Line: THE END
GROUP 2 Vocal Line: THE END
GROUP 3 Vocal Line: THE END
GROUP 4 Vocal Line: THE END (Please note - this vocal line begins an octave below where I am singing it - I can not sing that low, but if you are a deep singing male, feel free to sing it an octave lower than me.)
